Hi,

When we open an .eps image (which is created in Inkscape application/software) in Adobe Illustrator, we found that some of the layers/elements missing. However, there is no any king of error thrown by Adobe Illustrator while opening the file.

We need your guidance on a couple of points.

  1. Could you please check and let us know if there is any setting available in Adobe Illustrator which will throw an error regarding the missing layers/elements?
  2. How to work around in such cases?

What kind of elements are missing?

Can you show screenshots?

Or perhaps share a sample file?

Do other file formats work? Such as PDF or SVG?

Are you sure that the elements got exported into the EPS correctly?

Hello @Rohit264203403d79,

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind sharing some details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, a public link to a sample file after uploading it to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc., and screenshots or a screen recording of your workflow and the problem (https://adobe.ly/4dSNBXZ) so we can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
