EPS to Ai (Bad parameter error)

Can some one help me fix this!
My file is in EPS format, I need to covert it to Ai without loosing the layer wise editing capabilities, so that i can import to AfterEffects to edit the files for my work.

Error thats showing.

Example for Aftereffects layers that i need which worked perfectly fine.

the layers that I'm trying to convert from eps to ai.

Hello @akhilj,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Are the EPS files stored on an external/removable drive or a cloud-synced folder like Dropbox/Google Drive/etc.? If yes, kindly try moving them to a local directory, like the desktop, to see if it helps.
