Can't use illustrator because of this error code. Their page of erro codes does not list this one. What is it and how can I resolve it? Mac 10.15.16 and Illustrator 24.2.1

Thanks

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Do you have any other instance of the app installed on your machine? If you do, please try using Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove the existing installation and then try to install again.

You may also manage your signed in devices by following instructions given on this help article to remove any activation limit issue as one of the users earlier suggested. Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Ashutosh

I did try that and no luck. I just went back to 24.2 and all it's operational. I'll try to upgrade again later when I don't have as much work to get done. Thanks for the reply.

Did you figure out what was happening here and how to fix it?  Mine is doing the exact same right now.  Thanks!

So for me I think it has something to do with too many logins. I got a new macbook and trashed the old one and never signed out. Adobe eventually put up a notice when starting up Illustrator that I was signed into too many devices. When I signed out of my old macbook the issue went away. I did also go back a version. I havent had the issue since doing those two things.

As stated before, literally nothing else was running when encountering this so I don't think it was internal resources being overburdened.

Thanks!

Is this an installation error. According to the documentation it occurs due to the following reason

Error code 110: Unable to install the product

Error code 110 indicates that your operating system's internal resources are overburdened.

Solution

Close unnecessary programs, and then click Retry to download and install the app again.

And now it's back again. This is a brand new Macbook Pro. Literally less than a week old. I was only running mail when I got the error code. I cant always have every program closed when running Illustrator and if mail and illustrator together are too much then something is wrong. Any other solutions?
