Error Message "This printer driver is not supported by illustrator"

Question

Hi, whenever I try to save something or copy and paste this error message shows up: "This printer driver is not supported by Illustrator."

Yes, I am aware of the past QnA in the community forum. However, just by looking at it, it made no sense to me. Could anyone please find out different solutions for this or explain it step by step...?

Illustrator looks for a printer every time you open or save a file.

Setting the default printer to PDF solves this kind of issue for most people. How to set up a printer in Windows should be explained in the Windows documentation. This is what Google found: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4015386/windows-10-install-printer
