Error Saving file for Mac

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but I updated my Illustrator this morning for my Mac and now I can't save any Illustrator files. I get this message (An unkown error has occured):

It happens when I try saving an existing file or a brand new one. I haven't been able to find a solution yet. Help please 🙏

Is there a printer set up as default printer and turned on?
