Everything is is struggling

I am an engraver and just started sticker printing. The last two updates seems to be terrible for me. I thought it was my RAM or even my graphics card(s). i waited for hours for a 7 px offset. 7 hours!!!! Ive got to be doing something wrong, or is the updates really that bad at this moment?
