Expoding lines

What tools can i use in illustrator to make the lines look like this.

Could be anything from a radila blend to a zebra stripe converted with a polar distortion to creating every streak to measure from scratch, obviously. I'm sure if you type "radial sun ray vector tutorial" or similar phrases into YouTube or a generic web search you will find tons of tutorials.

Which part exactly is giving you trouble?

Are the lines just have feather and gradients applied to them?

I suspect the »rays« that are soft one one side and sharo on the other might be particularly problematic.

But using a Clipping Mask might be able to help achieve such an appearance.
