Hi Folks,

So here is the issue. A website is requiring me a file of a 10000*10000. The maximum I get is 8192 even when I type 10000 in the value.

Already tried different things like pixels, points, new document etc without success.

Anyone can help - me out?

Thanks a Munchies

When I export > Save for Web.

In the panel on the top right, I enter 10000 but it automatically downscales to 8192.

Can't be more precise.

Tried to change the units but nothing happened.

Can you scale the artwork to 10000x10000 pixels and then try "Export as"? Set the ppi to 72

If that doesn't work: save your file as AI with PDF compatibility. Then open in Photoshop. Scale to 10000x10000 on opening the file. Then export from Photoshop. Probably Save for Web won't work there either.

Which version are you using?

10000 px X 10000 px should be possible.

10000x10000 - what exactly is the requirement?

And what exactly is the error you get when trying?

August 3, 2018

Requirement for printing.

I don't get an "error" per say. It just stuck at 8192 as a maximum size.

Yes, of course.

But can you be more precise? is this 10000 pixels? Because that would work.

And what else?

What exactly do you enter?

What exactly is the error?

We can't read your mind or anything that is on your computer. So you have to tell us.

The measure is in pixels.

When I enter 10000 as a unit to export the file it just downscales it to 8192 automatically.

There is no "error" it just won't upscale to 10000.

Thanks
