Export of elements

Is there a possibility to sort the list of elements for exporting? If one element is changing, is there a possibility to update this element or do I have to delete and create this element again?

Hi there,

 

Thanks for reaching out. I assume you are referring to sort elements in "Collect For Export" or "Export For Screens." I am afraid it is not possible to sort them as of now. However, any update/ change/ modification made to an element will automatically get updated in the "Collect For Export" dialog box.

A possibility for sorting the list could be a proposal for a further version ....

It is correct, that an update/ change/ modification of an element is also changed in the list as long as nothing is added to the element. Therefore it would be helpful to get a possibility to redefine elements in the list. Could be also a proposal for the future.

I would suggest you post it here (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/). This way, you will keep getting all the updates related to this feature, and other users can also upvote, which would help us prioritize.

 

Also, this is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
