Export to jpg wrong size/zoom in web

When i export an ai file to jpg and then use it in our web application it looks weird small and blurry.

it was working before, i updated illustrator this morning i wish i didnt.

I took a old file that i had exported to jpg and exported again, then noticed that the new jpg file has a dpi of 96*96.

So you exported at 300 ppi? And the resulting file has 96?

 

Did you already reset the preferences? Which will erase all your settings.

Yes i exported in 300 ppi as usual and the rrsult was 96 dpi.

LATEST

If you want to reset them without losing anything, you can quit Illustrator and then rename the preferences folder. Illustrator makes new preferences and if that doesn't solve the issue you can just quit again, delete the new folder and then rename the other one back.

If i change from CMYK to RGB the dpi is correct.

This has to be a bug.
