Exporting files.

I have exported some files that I have created in Illustrator as both PNGs and JPEGS, however, when I try to open the file I get an error box saying that Windows can't find the file. This has happened to files I've just exported and those I exported a few weeks ago. I managed to export files before and never had this issue.

Any help would be great.

Thanks, I actually managed to sort it. Somehow my photo app had unstalled so I just needed to reinstall it.

Hello @SewLouisa,

Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind sharing a few details so we can investigate this further:

  • Where are you exporting the images? If it's an external drive/network drive/cloud-synced folder, I would request you try saving directly to a location on the internal hard drive like the desktop and check if it helps.

  • What program are you using to open the exported JPEG/PNG file?

  • What is the exact version of the OS and Illustrator installed on your computer?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
