Does the latest version of Illustrator CC support exporting vector art to the PXF file format, for embroidery systems?

No. What made you think so?

I was doing some research. PXF is a native file format only created by specific end user embroidery software systems. But, PXF still relies on Vector Art so, it seems that my only responsibility on my end is to provide the art work, for embroidery, in vector and then the embroidery service uses their software to convert the file to PXF within their system. I'm satisfied that this is the final answer but, some Google search results implied that some versions of Illustrator support export to PXF.

I'm using the last perpetual licensed version of illustrator, which is CS6, This older version does not export to PXF.

Illustrator has never had export filters for embroidery software. I don't think any of the rival vector drawing applications have offered that either. Usually the artwork has to be saved in a general purpose vector format, such as Illustrator AI, EPS or even PDF and then brought into the industry specific embroidery application to set up the actual stitching files. It's either that or a plugin for Illustrator has to be purchased to do the same thing.
