Extending the type line

My curved line with type is cut off. How do I make the curve  longer to fit the type in?

Just draw. Bit I guess there is something more specific about your issue, right? You want to match a curve?

Use Direct Selection tool (White arrow). Take the endpoint of the path and drag it to extend the line. Be careful to take the path's endpoint, not text Out marker. You can turn On the Outline mode (Ctrl/Cmd+Y) to see the path better
