Favorite Fonts Keep Unstarring

Hello:

Twice now, I have "starred" all of my favorite fonts so that they filter when selected.  And both times, after I have closed out Illustrator and gone back, my favorite fonts are all unstarred and no longer saved/filtered.  Does anyone have any idea why it's not saving the starred favorites?  Is it not supposed to save it after closing out Illustrator?  I have searched for help but haven't found an answer.

Does Illustrator crash when you quit?

Do you run as Administrator?

Are all privileges set sufficiently so Illustrator can write preferences?

Have you tried resetting the preferences?

You are totally right!  It's because the two times Illustrator closed it had crashed.  I didn't think about that.  I just re-starred some fonts and closed it out properly and it saved them.  Thank you so much for your reply!

You're welcome.

When you quit Illustrator, the preferences get written. If Illustrator crashes before it could write the prefs, your options are lost.
