Why can I no longer find my ai files on dropbox when searching the file name through illustrator. I have several files with the same name which are on dropbox (in assorted folders) as well as my mac & external backup disk. I used to be able to open illustrator & search the file name which then listed all of the files with the same file name so I was sure to open the latest saved document. All the files are listed including the dropbox files when searching on spotlight but not showing when file - open - (file name) in illustrator. Hope I have explained clearly! Softwares & operating systems are up to date...

Hello @stephnorb,
Could you check if full disk access is enabled for Illustrator (similar steps shared here: https://adobe.ly/443bNVy) and then relaunch Illustrator to see if it helps?
Also, please note that while Illustrator supports working across networks, removable media, and cloud-synced folders (Google Drive / Dropbox / OneDrive, etc.), it is vigorously tested across multiple configurations. However, not all configurations, including different software, hardware, settings, and access rights, have been tested. Therefore, your configuration can cause errors, crashes, or unexpected behavior. You may learn more about this here: (https://adobe.ly/4evkJXl).
To avoid such problems, we recommend working on your files from a local directory, like the Desktop, and manually copying them to the removable media, network drive, cloud-synced folder, or using Cloud Documents.
