files lost

all my files aree gone from when i was in school and they were also saved so I dont know what happened!

Odds are they were stored on the school's network server ( perhaps as backup ).  You would or should contact the school's IT department and explain what happened.  If they were using Mac(s), then they may have used Time Machine, so you could access the last known date you worked on the file(s).  Always try to save to a flash drive so your files can be accessed anytime anywhere.
