Fill colour dissapears by typing text on path

I have an issue when I type text on path on circel. The coulor dissapears when I type text. Can somebody help me to solve this problem? See attachments. I have made a green circel. When I use the text on path the colour dissapears.

Hi. That's the normal behavior. You can copy the circle before adding the text and paste it to add a stroke or fill to the copy.

... or you can (afterwards) click on the path with Direct Selection Tool and re-apply your fill color.
