Font corps change not visible

Question

Hi,

I have a font issue that occurs now and then.

First, I use Adobe illustrator 2023 (isssue also occurs at 2022 version).
I use Creative Cloud All aps.

Apple MacbookPro M1 Pro

macOS Monterey 12.2

16 GB

Issue happens with multiple fonts.

Now I work with the Adobe Fonts (Online acctivation) Effra, the whole family.

Problem:

When I want to change the font to to bold, medium etc and also when I change the corps, visually nothing changes/happens with the selected text.

I only can see the change when I make an outline and then command-z.

See screenshots when I decrease the font. Visualy it remanins its size.

After making font outline I see what I changed.

PhotoA: The current situation.

PhotoB: I decrease corps 12 to 9. The outline shows it decreased but visualy nothing happend.

PhotoC: Only when I make an outline the change is visible.

Does anybody know what this happens?

CPU/GPU change does not have any effect.

Did you try things like restart your machine, reset preferences?
