Font Error message when coming from pro Eurostile Reg Ext

Hi, I'm having an issue when loading from Pro, to Ilustrator, then back in Pro. I get an error font may not display correctly. The Font is Eurostile Reg Ext and when coming from AI back to Pro the letters stretch out and space is added between the letters.

I saw a possible fix might be change the Pro pdf file to ext before moving to AI for preservation of font.

The font is in AI, as the only option is to remove it, not download.

Any suggestions?

What is the exact wording of that message?

It's not about the font being a PostScript font, no?

What application is "pro" short for? Premiere Pro, Procreate, etc? What format is the font file (OpenType, TrueType, Postscript Type 1)? Is the font file installed directly into the computer's operating system or is it installed via a font management application?

Ext is the extended version of the font. Not sure what you mean by Pro. When exactly do you get the error log, fomr what app and are you exporting to PDF from Procreaete maybe???  Why would you be going back and forth dom much in programs?

Pro = Adobe Pro

Ilustrator = AI

It was an error message when switching from Pro to AI.

Solution for me =  Click "Keep changes reducing AI's editing capabilities".  In our case the reduction would have been in the font editing area, which we didn't need at that time.

When you click "discard changes, preserving AI's editing abilities" it creates a border around the font. Looks killer, bold. but when going back to Pro, the words would not move without leaving the hollowed out letters behind.

Ultimate fix = Do it all in AI. We became more confident in the AI font editing tools. No reason to move the art back and forth. It's all good now.

Adobe Pro = Acrobat Pro?

Do it all in Illustrator is the right decision.
