font Exo2 in Illustrator

Hi there, i would like to install/use font type Exo2 in Illustrator. But i can only find Exo Soft. How do i install a font that is not standard in Adobe's offer?

Did you download the font from Google fonts?

You can install it like any other font in your system.

Thanks for your reply Ton! Although Illustrator gives an error when i am opening the file i am able to find the font once i am working in the file itself. I guess that's good enough for now. Thanks again

Fonts are installed to your operating system, not the application. Make sure the font is properly installed before you open the file.
