Font Family

Question

Does anybody know why my fonts are not in the same family?
The italic versions of this font (Poppins) are all together in one group and you can easily change the weight in just few clicks. Using Regular, Bold, Semibold etc. however, needs to be typed manually to find the font weight.

I'm using Adobe Illustrator latest version on Windows 11.

They have to be coded correctly for them to show together in the tag Font Family. If even a space is different or the field is left blank you will not get them together.. Go back to where you purchased and see if they have an updated version. This often happens with free fonts.
