Hi,
Not sure if this a good place for this question but I am trying to figure out a system of font management.
What I am hoping is that from within my main apps (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) I can easily see which fonts are available for commercial use/personal use/ etc...
I'm not sure if a font manager is the way to go or if there something as good or better available with my CC subscription.
Bridge maybe? I would like to not have to leave the application. I would like to somehow 'filter' which fonts display so I could arrow through them right inside Ps or Ae or Ai and know that all of the results are filtered for commercial use.
How do you guys manage your fonts? Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Paul
I recommend Font Agent Pro and use it myself. The advantage is you can set it to load fonts automatically. Say you get a file that calls for Caslon Antique. If you have that font installed, it will load automatically when you open the file. Aside from that, it will run a check on the fonts when you load them, it'll look for dupes, problem fonts, etc. It is a separate application that you cannot access from within an app. I know of no font manager you can access from an app.
