fonts in Illustrator CC 2015

OK, I realise this is already an older version, and I realise that our corporate set-up hasn't quite got the idea of Internet access for applications :-} but it's inconvenient to discover that some drawings from the last couple of years are now throwing up "font not found" messages for Myriad Pro. I suspect I have / had been accessing this useful font through the cloud, because it's not in the normal Fonts directory.

What's the best way to fix this? thanks in advance!

Discussion successfully moved from Adobe Creative Cloud to Illustrator

    Hi there,

Please activate Myriad Pro Font from here: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/myriad.

Let us know if this helps or if you need any further help.

    Regards,

Thanks, Shristi … after a while, this got me the response "2 fonts included in your free plan. Subscribe to Creative Cloud to activate 38 more fonts." … so how do I check the status of my CC subscription?

Thanks … but the e-mail address associated with my forum activities is from l-o-n-g before my corporate CS licence.

I've managed to reach the "Account overview" page, and there it shows "Adobe Fonts" under Web apps and services.

What do I need to check next? or, worst case, what do I need to try and get corporate admin to check – it's a Adobe for Teams licence.

Thanks in advance for some more tips.

You should use your teams adobe id to sign-in. If you do so, fonts and all other features of your subscription should work, except if your IT is paranoiac (as mine is) and you need to ask them to white-list all the Adobe relates internet names.

See here for a list of domain names: Adobe Creative Cloud Network Endpoints

You could license the font through Adobe Fonts/formerly Typekit.

Do you still have valid Creative Suite versions? The font was installed on your harddisk with at least some of them.
