FREE. TRANSFORM TOOL NOT WORKING

hello im using illustrator while running on parralels windows on a mac.

My issue is my free transform is not working any help on how to fix this?

That does not work with images. Try Photoshop for those kind of transforms.

You can't use free distort on an image.

You could embed the image, create an shape the same size as the image then make it an envelope (Object > Envelope Distort > Make with Top Object), then use free distort on the envelope as a workaround.
