Question

GPU vs CPU Path Thickness in Outline Mode

Is it normal for the path thickness in outline mode to change when you view using GPU or CPU? While I use CPU, the paths are thin. However, if I switch to GPU, the paths get thicker. I attached a video of what I am talking about.

You're viewing a bezier item in a pixel environment, sacrifices have to be made...

The path thickness is not changing, it's just the perception of the path that is.

If you zoom in and swap views I bet it's hardly noticable.

Have the stroke panel up and the line selected when you swap views, the thickness doesn't change.

Maybe your graphics card isn't up to date?

Use whichever view you're happier with.

I'm asking if it is normal to see this or not. Does this happen to anyone else?

Looks normal to me.

Is it problematic in your workflow?

Okay. No it's not problematic. I was just curious if it was normal to see that change when switching performace modes. Thank you.

Probably the difference between anti-aliasing and no anti-aliasing.
