In AI CC, I've created a rectangle and added a gradient stroke. The gradient is set for across the stroke and the fill in this rectangle is the same lighter purple as in the gradient stroke. There is a white line/space in the lower corner and I'm not sure why. I could probably outline the stroke and fix the anchor points manually to remove the white space but that defeats the ease of this gradient stroke method. Any ideas why this white space is there?

Good that this could solve the issue.
