Gradient stroke on circle is not smooth anymore

Hi there,

Doing a gradient stroke on a circle. As soon as I set the stroke to be applied ALONG the stroke and then outline the stroke, the circle isn't a smooth circle any more. 

Any idea how to fix this? My file needs the stoke to be outlined, and would love to avoid anything manual if possible.

Can you check it in CPU preview mode?

Also: which zoom level are we looking at?

This one is CPU and 2400% in this pic...

Will it be enlarged that much when printed (or presetned on screen)?
