Gradients sometimes not rotating that are contained in clip groups

We do a lot of graphics for dirtbikes and so often times there are objects with multiple gradients in them. All of the artwork is inside of a clip group as well. When we go to create out print sheets and nest all of the objects some gradients will not rotate properly. This happens randomly and I have found no way to resolve this. Ideas?

Are you printing the graphics directly from Adobe Illustrator or using a third party application, such as a large format RIP? If you're using a RIP application what kinds of files are you bringing into it from Adobe Illustrator?

Hello,

I finally encounted this problem again so here we go.

I am saving my files as a PDF and opening them natively in the RIP Software.

This problem happens before the files leaves illitrator.

I have circled the problem area in both photos for refrence.

Is the rotation glitch with the gradient fills happening when the objects are rotated within Illustrator? Or is the glitch occurring in the PDF after it is generated by Illustrator? If there are any advanced properties in the gradient fills the PDF should probably be saved in the latest PDF version, 1.7, rather than the Illustrator default of version 1.6.

So the gradients do not return in your nesting software? Or when the printer printes them rotated? Or on the artboard?

Are they really gradients? Or perhaps patterns that someone created by accident?

I dont use nesting software, I manually fit the odd shape parts into sheet sizes of 52" x 27". THe gradiesnts are not patterns but just reguular gradient fills that are created with the gradient tool. I Will post an example here shortly after I create another sheet.
