I'm looking for a script to automatically group objects sharing the same area on the canvas. See the attachment! a simple example! the script would result in 6 groups.

I asked the developer about it, and was told that it is available in English, though the translation may be strange.

Based on your simple example, it can be done with a simple action.

Probably there are other examples that are not that simple, aren't there? Can you perhaps share some Illustrator files, so one can take a look at them?
