How do I create a Hairline outline in ai? I am printing to a laser that only accepts colour as raster to engrave and a hairline RGB Red as vector to cut along. The 0.1mm stroke does not work.
The pathfinder "Outline" creates strokes of 0 Pt, which are in fact Hairlines. Create a graphic style out of this and apply to your stroke.

Hello @umututkus,
Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, details about your workflow, and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/4aprck2), so we can investigate this further?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav

Ver.: 28.6
When laser cutting i use 0.001 pt stroke it works fine when Laser Cutter DPI settings set to 500dpi but when I select 250dpi Laser Machine registers 0.001pt as a Raster file instead of vector. Therefore Instead of cutting it tries to engrave the 0.001pt stroke line. hope that makes sense.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

You probably need to refer to your printer's documentation to find out exactly how you need to set up your stroke.

It has nothing to do with lasers settings its all about the issue that something changed inside illustrator, old version of illlustrator was working fine can't remember the version. also on my previous post i mentioned about corel draw; which can cut the same file both 250 dpi & 500 dpi output with same stroke settings! Unfortunately i am not so familiar with corel.
