Hello Community,
I am somehow struggling with creating of Halftone pattern in Adobe Illustrator.
I recorded my process to the attached git.
I would like to use symbol for the pattern, that I can change it later on a change the pattern´s styles.
There is something I am missing in the process, but I have no idea what is it :(.
In the attached example, I just wanted to change the pattern color, and it change 3/4 of it and for some uknown reason not the last quater.
Changing the Symbol from dynamic to static solves the problem.

When you check the layers panel: is that bottom right part then still belonging to the same symbol?
Can you perhaps share the file?

Dynamic symbols allow for color overrides, while static symbols do not (and are much more efficient in reducing the filesize).

Good to hear it works now. I think the greatest advantage of Static Symbols is that they are only stored once in the file (and in the PDF) and can be used many times without blowing up the filesize. With Dynamic Symbols, every instance is saved and exported as a separate item in the file.
