I continue to get fed up, with Illustrator not remembering running a script from the scripts menu, after Illustrator is shut down. Every time I reopen I have to run a script, and then reload saved actions so that I can utilize my scripts easier.
Has anyone created a script that runs when illustrator starts, runs a menu script, and then loads saved actions? If not, does anyone know if this is possible, as I will probably create.
I got the following approach.
You still have to run a script, but now you only have to do it once, and also rely on folders inside of your My Documents folder.
Re: Actions: "Insert Menu Item" Script still not saving CS6
You can probably do an auto-hotkey or Applescript to show the file-menu though, and I'm lazy enough / don't use many actions with scripts, to there reloading just this way is tolerable.
