Hi all,
I'm having trouble trying to get a blend right.
I'd like the perimiter of circles to evenly blend into the smaller circle in the center, but for some reason the blend is leaving this weird pronounced section. I've been researching this for an hour and I just don't know what to do. I'd be incredibly appreciative if somebody could tell me how I could make the blend look uniform. Thank you so much.
Best,
Alex
Try making one blend from the top outer dot to the center dot first. Then take that blend and go to Effect > Distort & Transform > Transform..., set the pivot point to the bottom, enter the number of copies, and adjust the angle accordingly to complete the circle. It's an effect, so it's all based on that first blend. If you'd like to manipulate those dots, you can go to Object > Expand Appearance.

Amazing! This is so helpful, I'm truly grateful.
Do you have any idea how I can reconfigure the blend so the distance between the dots is equal?

After you make the initial blend, you could go to Object > Expand and ungroup until they are separate circles. Then select them all. In the Align section of the Properties panel, click on the 3 dots to get more options. Under Distribute Spacing, click on the left icon (Vertical Distribute Space). Group the circles and then apply the Transform effect.
