I am trying to print a custom Blu Ray cover that I made, but the printed result ends up with wrong colors, the images are fuzzy, and faint white lines that show up on the right side for some reason. I've deduced that these must be issues with Illustrator's print settings, as when I printed the same thing from Windows or Google I got the correct colors and no white lines, but the image was the wrong size (thus why I didn't just print it that way).
What changes do I need to make to the Illustrator print options/presets to get my print result to be as close as possible in color and quantity as possible or at least as good as my printer will allow? (I am using a HP Inkjet Printer, probably not the best for this project but as I stated I'm 99% sure it's an Illustrator problem.)
First image is a scan of the printed result with the errors. The second image is a PNG export of the Illustrator project with correct colors and quality.

So the PNG can be exported OK, but the print is wrong? Your printer might not be PostScript enabled. What you can try is exported the design asa PDF and then print from Acrobat. Or open the PNG in Acrobat and print it.

I will give Acrobat a try.

Unfortunately Acrobat seems to still have the same issues regarding color and this white lines, even after trying the settings you recommended. I don't know why those lines keep showing up when printing from Adobe software. Printing the png straight from my desktop doesn't have them.

Can you show a screenshot of the design in Illustrator?
And a second screenshot of the outline view?
