HELP WITH SWATCHES

AFTER OVER 4 HOURS YESTERDAY ON CHAT WITH ADOBE I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. HOWEVER THE ADOBE SUPPORT PERSON RESET MY PREFERENCES FOR NO REASON AND I STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I WANT THE 200 SILVER GRADIENTS TO INSTALL 'INDIVIDUALLY" AS SWATCHES WITHOUT HAVING TO DRAG AND DROP EACH INDEPENTLY. HOWEVER WHEN I DO OPEN THEM THROUGH OTHER LIBRARY THE BELOW SWATCHES ARE WHAT I GET. I AM A FAIRLY ADVANCED USER AND CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY I UPLOADED ONE SET AND IT WORKED FINE BUT NOW THIS SET DOES NOT WORK FINE. I ALSO HAVE PUT THE FILES DIRECTLY IN MY PRESETS\EN_US\SWATCHES FOLDER OH AND ADOBE SUPPORT IS FOR THE BIRDS. IN THAT 4 HOURS I ASKED 30 TIMES AT LEAST FOR A LEVEL TWO AND THEY NEVER PROVIDED IT. NEITHER SUPPORT PERSON WAS AWARE OF ADOBE STOCK AND I ACTUALLY UPLOADED LINKS TO THE SECOND SUPPORT PERSON SHOWING HOW TO UPLOAD MULTIPLE SWATCHES AT A TIME. THEY ARE ONLY AWARE OF THE DRAG AND DROP PRACTICE! I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS DILEMMA. I AM FINISHED USING ADOBE SUPPORT THEY ARE THE WORST.ADOBE STOCK SWATCHES I WANT TO UPLOAD INTO ILLUSTRATORWHAT ACTUALLY IS UPLOADING INTO ILLUSTRATOR

So you downloaded this file from Adobe Stock? Can you tell us the number?

And you want to use them as swatches in Illustrator? Are you sure that they are indeed swatches? Adobe did not create the file, some person did and if that person did not create swatches then there are none.

You have used Illustrator for so long, you should know how to create swatches?

Yes I want to have them as swatches like the other gradients so I can just pick them and the gradient changes. I do not know if they are indead swatches they download as adobe illustrator artwork 23 or something like that. It is an .ai file. Yes I know how to create swatches I would rather not have to create 200 individual swatches. Although after the 4 hour chat fiasco yesterday with adobe support I possibly could have created the 200 swatches and could have possibly finished it in that time frame without all of my preferences being set back to factory default for no reason.

I have seen this file before. It contains some gradient swatches, but not the ones used in the objects on the artboard.

Opening the file using the Swatches panel will not load the gradients in the document.

You will need to select them one by one, add them to your Swatches panel and give them an interesting name and save the result as a Swatches Library.

Maybe someone who knows scripting can write a script to add them to your swatches panel.

(and check your CAPS LOCK).

I absolutely made them aware of the situation. Thank you for pointing it out. Adobe Stock leaves a lot to be desired but I think all of the vector art out there has issues. I just wish clipping mask was not used so dang much makes about 50% of what I have downloaded useless but I still get dinged for the licensing.
