Hi, I have noticed after installing my wacom tablet's driver that when I use brushes to draw, my fans sound pretty bad. So I checked my task manager in windows 10 and I have noticed that both my cpu and gpu usage simply doubled. I am chatting whit wacom about the issue since more than a month, and they doesn't seam to give me any solution, but they are like super arrogant saying that or I pirate my o.s. or adobe, or they asked me if I bought their stuff. Than they told me that or I use their software or I just have an expensive mouse. Well I'm not really tolerating their attitude, so this is how I ended up here. Is there any solution what I can fix in adobe or windows?? I can't really work like that, my gpu is reaching over 80% like after 3 simple brush strokes.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear about your experience. CPU or GPU usage can be increased due to many reasons. Would you mind sharing version of Illustrator?
Also, let us know if you have checked CPU/GPU usage without Wacom? You may also try creating a new user account on your machine and observe the performance. Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Ashutosh

Hi,
Yes sure, I have the latest updated some days ago. 24.1.3 i think.I always keep my apps up to date, but I had this issue with the version before updating it too.
I went through a many weeks long chatting with wacom, without any solution, in the end their drivers team sent me your link with illustrator related gpu issues.
I tried all of those ideas too.
I have a 6Gb nvidia gpu, so I guess with a simple brush stroke I shouldn't have 70%-80% gpu usage and halfe of my i7 9th gen cpu used.
Thanks for you reply.

And I tested it on my other laptop and it has the same issue. And I have my latest windows too, since I keep that updated also. But before the update it was the same. What I don't remember is having it before the wacom driver update. But they say on their side everything is just fine, and they tested it and it's all good. But for some reason on my side it's not okay, not even on 2pc, two tablets of the same kind, same adobe app version.

I tried with another account and it's the same. By making a simple brush stroke (with a pressure sensitive brush, but I had the same issue like with the simple pencil tool) my gpu is increasing up to 70+ percent, and my cpu is also on really high levels. But how I told you in a comment earlier, I am working on two different laptops, and it's the same.
