High Sierra Upgrade - Can't find Fonts

Hi

Today I upgraded my Mac OS to High Sierra.

Since the upgrade Adobe illustrator is no longer linked to my user fonts folder and is only linked to the system font folder.

Has anyone had the same issue and have a solution?

Cheers !

This worked for me. Very simple! I did this same thing for iDesign.

• Go into applications and open Illustrator

• Create a "Font" folder

• Locate your fonts, copy and paste them into the font folder

• Re-start Illustrator

Note: iDesign already has a font folder in the iDesign application.

Thank you!!! That was so easy and it worked right away.  I'm glad I didn't try any other suggested fixes for this.  It's so great when something works and you haven't already pulled your hair out trying other things that don't work!

Where is the preferences to remove? There are two libraries. Also, I open my fonts and the illustrator closes.

Can not even use it.

What do you suggest?

WHat kinds of fonts did you have in the user fonts folder?

PostScript? Your system doesn't like those anymore.

Hi Monika, all my fonts are either .otf or .ttf and both file types are in both the system and user font library.

So all my Adobe CS software is utilising fonts from the system folder (Mac HD>System>Library>Fonts) while all the fonts I require are in my user folder (Mac HD>Library>Fonts).

Before upgrading to High Sierra I could access all fonts from both libraries in Adobe CS.

So you're still on Illustrator CS? Which version exactly?
