hover over swatches palette

Hi mostly when i hover over my swatches the name of the swatch comes up, but every now and again this stops working and i have to restart illustrator to get it back. I've looked through preferences but can't find any obvious way to turn this back on. Any suggestions? I'm using CC 2015.3 thanks!

Once or twice a month is not enough.

Computers just mess themselves up over time and need this restart.

How often do you restart the computer?

thanks for your reply, i only turn my mac off about about once or twice a month! if i restart it does work, but just a bit annoying having to do it halfway through a job
