How can I apply this effect in Illustrator?

How can I apply such an effect to shapes? In Figma, I do this with the “inner shadow” effect, but in Illustrator, I can't find this feature.

You could do something similar with two feathered strokes:

I'm sure there are other, more refined ways that didn't immediately occur to me also.

hi, to achive that effect in illustrator is doable to a point but will not be a click of a button solution. Especially if you have to apply it to many shapes. You can use the mesh tool, blends and creative cuts with feather applied.
