How can I disable the obnoxious blue Share button in Illustrator 27.0?

Updated to version 27.0 this morning and am seeing the obnoxious blue "Share" button at the top right of my UI. This is super-distracting. I know Adobe wants to push this functionality, but it's not part of my workflow and my inability to disable it is only breeding resentment for a company I used to hold in high esteem. This is an egregious example of Adobe pushing their own business needs into my UI — which should be sacrosanct — without an obvious means of saying "no thanks." Is the hope to wear uninterested users down?

    Go to "Preferences > User Interface > Share Button" and select "Match Brightness" - it will no longer appear blue.

    Seriously Adobe, terrible design decision. You can't even move the button! It's constantly blocking controls and I have to resize the window to get behind it. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!

    SO  rediculous that this DUMB feature that got added to all Adobe design apps is integrated in different ways with different steps to change the button and different steps to get it to stop spam asking me to use it. I can't get Illustrator 27.6.1 to stop asking me to use.

    Please do not post this in every available thread. This public forum is mainly read by volunteers. We cannot change it.

     

    Please post bug reports to https://illustrator.uservoice.com That's the place the developers read.

    whatever Monika. 99% of these comments are adobe complaints...but your mission is to complain about users? Find a hobby.

    I hate that blue share button. HATE it. Why can it not be hidden in InDesign? Or at least turned gray like you can in Illustrator and Photoshop. Let us opt out, Adobe. Sheesh.

      In Preferences > User Interface you can make it match brightness instead of blue.

        Great. Now we just have to get InDesign to add the same interface preference!

        I just tested and Photoshop lets you turn it off too. Here it is in Photoshop. Preferences > Interface > Check Neutral Color Mode.

          This is not a solution is just a lousy way to hide something I just want to save to my computer I don't wan to use Cloud

            You used to be able to click it once, click cancel and it lost the blue color, but that was "fixed" this time 😞

              There is currently no way to turn off the Share button. This isn't the best place to post, Instead make and track your request on the Illustrator User Voice which is designed for that purpose.
