how do I access data recovery after I accidentally clicked cancel during data recovery?

My laptop crashed while I was working on my illustrator file but thankfully auto save was there and there was an option of "replace" "ignore" or "cancel" presented before I could access it. However I accidentally clicked "cancel" and now I cannot find that file anywhere. It should still be in my laptop since it showed me that it had auto saved right? Or is it completely gone because I clicked "cancel"? Please help.
