Question

How do I change my interface language to English (both CC app and Illustrator)

I installed Illustrator in Dutch a few years ago, but now I don't succeed in changing my interface language to English.

- My default Mac language is English

- The default language for new installations (set in the CC app, version 5.11.0.522) is English

- I removed Illustrator and reinstalled it (version 27.8)

Still, both the CC app and Illustrator stay in Dutch.

Who can help me fix this issue?

That should work. I don't even remove Illustrator when installing another language.

Did you restart you machine?

Yes I did. But how do you install a different language? Preferences/User Interface, doesn't give me any options to change the language (unlike photoshop for example)

In the Creative Cloud app in the preferences you select the Install language.

If there is more than one language installed, Illustrator's language will be the same as the system language
