Andrea,
Please be lots more specific. From what you've posted I have no clear idea of what your problem is.

Thank you for responding Peter. I managed to make the image into a compound shape. But my text are still paths. I want to make everything-text and image a combined vector. I’m know I’m missing a simple step.

You can’t go back to text after you have outlined to shapes as shown in your screen capture.
It’s still not clear what you are trying to accomplish though.

Thank you everyone for responding. Well I want to know if I’m done with my whole image. I’m on a time crunch and I’m trying to figure it out. could I send in that image as is to printers? I thought I had to expand the appearence of the image so it will become a vector. I’m leaving in 14 hours out of the country so any help is well appreciated.

You will need to discuss with the printers what they want.
They know what's getting to be printed.
It would have been wise to ask them upfront what kind of file they need.

Well, it looks like already expanded, finalized art. No effects, no additional appearance, all elements are simple filled vectors. If the other parts of image look the same, it must be OK for printers.

Why would you want to do this? Because if you do, it will all be the same color. I'm not sure if this is what you want to accomplish. If you want everything to be one object, group it, but I can't see why that should be necessary either.

I have a solution that requires experience. You may need to use the appearance panel. No need to linearize your writing. By grouping a vector object with your writing, you can design by giving linear backward thicknesses. I share a link via Youtube. See examples like this.
