Question

How do I share and work on the same illustrator file 'live with another person?

Two of us artists want to work on the same illustrator file live (mac based) so both our creative processes are seen as large projections as a performance on a building. We can choose to enhance, destroy or undo the work of the other (predominantly using brushes as painting) and our 'battle' is then projected.

What is the best way for this to be achieved?

Do we put the file on the cloud?

Does Illustrator have a sharing option?

Shall we use remote desktop and a shared server

Is there different software that uses illustrator bushes but allows for team designing?

Something like TeamViewer or any other screen sharing solution might be able to make that work. Don't know if the license covers this.

You might want to take a look at collaborative drawing software or White Board software.

That won't work with Illustrator brushes.
