Hello, how do u draw a triangle in illustrator. also how do u fill it in via paint

Use the polygon tool.

Click on the artboard. Enter 3

Then assign a fill.

Double click

Select sides etc and ok

To give a simple Fill colour just change the swatch .

If you want  more complex,to paint with brush etc use Draw Inside

What kind of triangle do you need? The Polygon Tool will not give you, for example, a right triangle. You can draw a rectangle and then delete an AnchorPoint. Or you can simply use the Pen to draw a three-segment closed path.
