How do you check spelling in illustrator on the ipad?

There's no mechanism built into Illustrator on the iPad.

Doesn't Apple's spell check work when entering the text?

I wish that were the case, but it does not auto-check when in the app. I intentinally spelled words wrong. and it did not do anything to edit them. I wish the Illustrator app had the spell-check deather like the desktop does. Hmm, not sure what to do other than type in a Word doc, and then copy/paste to the app to ensure correct spelling.

To ensure correct spelling and if you could really risk a lot of money then you need a professional spell check service done by a human.

It is crazy that there is no spell check- I have spent an hour investigating this.  I hope they fix this soon and the app will function properly!
