How to activate Fonts in Illustrator

Hi - I have an academic account which has basic fonts included. I'm needing to use Mr. Eaves (as part of the "Best in Class" font pack. I'd like to licence this for a month but haven't been able to figure out how to do so. When I follow the funnel to do so, it tells me that I already have an account (which makes me think that I'm not purchasing the font package properly because I'm NOT trying to relicence Illustrator or other apps. Help please!

If you go here:

https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/mr-eaves-sans

And you cannot activate the font, it may not be covered by your subscription.

If you have a Creative Cloud Account then you should be able to access any of the Adobe Fonts (formerly called Type Kit fonts) in the following manner:

In the font pull-down menu in your Character Panel you will note an option at the top to "Find More". When you click on that all of the available Adobe Fonts will appear with a cloud to the right of the font name:

Click on the cloud to the right of the font name and the font will be downloaded to your computer (you will see a cloud icon to the right of the font name in your font list). I tried this and was easily able to download the font you indicated in your question.

PLEASE NOTE: As a Creative Cloud subscriber you have the right to use these fonts professionally for anything you design. However, you cannot actually collect these fonts to supply them to your vendor. The vendor must also have a Creative Cloud subscription in order to download the fonts and output your job for you.

Thank you so much for this thorough response. I found the character and the "find more" section but the specific font that I need isn't located there for me to download.

Does that indicate that I don't have the font accessible via my account? If so, how do I go about downloading them or do I have to pay more to licence mr eaves? (if the later, how much would that cost me?)

Thanks!

Is the font you need not one of the Mr. Eaves fonts shown in my bottom screen shot? If it is and it's not showing up for you then it is possible that your account doesn't cover it. If it is not one of those shown then it mean that the font is not available with Adobe Fonts.

Hi Karen,

Thanks for reaching out. If you are a Creative Cloud subscriber, please follow instructions to license the fonts on help article https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/add-fonts.html
Hope it helps.

This actually does not help as I don't believe the font is available in my
account. How do I license this font for the month? Thanks.
