How to add Brushes in Illustrator?

I need to know how and what kind of paint brushes I can add to Illustrator. I know it can be done but exactly HOW? All I can find in the tutorials has to do after you have the brush you can.... What I want is a way to apply the brushes I have come across to Illustrator. The only brush I have in Illustrator is a daisy. There must be more. Help!

    Thank you so much for your feedback. I have used it to do some brush work but I don't think I understand what the heck I am doing. Is there any instruction on the Adobe website that tells you what to do exactly to install brushes? I feel like I know just enough to hang myself.
