Hi, I am trying to save files normally but for some reason they are saving as an illustrator file. I can not seem to figure out how to change it. I have looked through my illustrator settings, my file settings, and my download settings. It does it even when I try to save images from google. I am currently trying to save photos from lightroom though. Thanks!

Can you please describe what exactly you are saving and what makes you think that it's an AI file.

Kayla,

I believe you may wish to look elsewhere, namely at the file associations at the general level of your computer Operating System (Win/Mac); .ai seems to be used for more than its own (and related) kind(s).
