How to copy Illustrator from Mac to Mac desktops

Hi,

I have Adobe Illustrator 15.0 on an old Mac desktop that I want to copy to use onto a new Mac desktop. 

What is the fastest easiest way this can be done within a day if possible?

The App was from my cousin a long time ago on a cd.

You're getting yourself confused, the Illustrator is already on the old Sierra Mac, I just wanted to know if it can work on the new Mac Ventura. LOL

CS5 won't run on Ventura.

Aside from possible license issues, I have doubts Illustrator CS5 would even run properly on a new Mac with an Apple Silicon-based CPU. Illustrator CS5 was released in 2010 when Apple was building Intel-based Macs. The Rosetta software can help Intel-based OSX code run on the M1 platform. But even when an application is using the OS and CPU code base there is no guarantee OSX will provide backward compatibility with 13 year old software. Plus there is the added wrinkle of CS5 software activation. Are any of the Creative Suite activation servers still running? I have an old CS5.5 Master Collection box I paid a lot of money for, but I have my doubts it could be activated on a vintage PC.

I have an old Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6 that has Illustrator if can use on the new Mac OS Ventural 13.41.

Illustrator CS5 will not run on Sierra. Jut keep the old machine if you want to keep using that version.

sharing software and licenses between users in ways not permitted by the software's End User License Agreement (EULA) is not legal or ethical. If the software was originally purchased by your cousin, it might not be legal for you to use his license.
